I can’t believe I’m doing this. I haven’t been serious about running in a long time, and this is just the thing to get me motivated again. Mental/Physical training begins… now.

A few people have said that I remind them of Zooey Deschanel. I don’t see it one bit, but, to me, it’s the ultimate compliment! Adore her and her quirkiness!

I’m coming back to the heart of worship, and it’s all about You. It’s all about You, Jesus. I’m sorry for the thing I’ve made it.

Breakfast at Tiffany’s
Another picture post from me. Surprising, I know… But! I never understood screen shots like the above until I watched the movie for myself, and I’ve surely fallen in love!
Quickly afterwards I had texted my cousin Tiffany…

Sorry Tumblr, I don’t really care about you anymore. I just really really enjoy my almost finished caramel apple (courtesy of the sissy pissy and Aeon) and my nail color (courtesy of the Chiu ladies).

Give me the equal opportunity to get the classes I paid for, and stop telling me to pay more for probably the same exact shit you’ve been giving. If I wanted to pay a shit load of money to go to a highly populated school, I wouldn’t, I would’ve just gone to a private institution where the number of students are less and the tuition is (going to be) the same amount. The tuition increase has almost doubled in the last five years. DOUBLED, now what do you expect us to do. Does this even all make sense? Making us pay more money when the economy is down, who has the ability to just pull money out of their asses and pay for their education? Who has the money to, in the time of a recession just pay double the amount of money for their education. Let’s face the facts here people, the regents board in 2009 raised our tuition with a tone of sympathy, with the idea that this is inevitable, but it’s not. Maybe instead of expanding on the UC Campuses and getting funds for that shit, you take that money and you use it for our education. Luxury is not a factor in our time of need and the presentation of the learning institution is not as important as the minds learning in it.

81 percent. That’s the percentage of tuition increase all of you will be paying when you come to UCLA, UC Berkeley, and all the other UCs when you’re going to college. While our tuition now is 11,000 roughly, a number recently imposed in 2009, it will increase progressively to 22,000 a year. 22,000 a year. Now let’s just put that into perspective. A low income family, which is at this point a great number of families in the U.S. makes roughly 23,000 dollars a year. To have a family pay all of their earnings for education and better future is just unrealistic. What will our society succumb to people? A generation of youths and adults in the world that is uneducated or not highly educated because of financial cost? Let’s hope not. For all of you about to enter the UC or even CSU system which is also facing a 500 dollar increase per year, it effects you too. If anything you more than us. We fight here in the knowing that it’s not going to happen instantly, we fight here for the future, for the upcoming youth so that you all have the opportunity to reach your highest potential without the extreme financial woes and fears.

In the 1960s, the college and youth in general were the most prone to protest and form social movements for a cause they believed in, and now, just 40 years later, that statistic has changed drastically into placing the youth as the group least likely to protest. The reason why? we’re busy now. We’re busy with life, doing things to succeed, doing things that will take us to where we want to be in life, but just take this into consideration, all those times you’re doing what you need, going to class and making that grade what are you working for? Your future? because let’s face it. That future’s going to be hard to grasp when you and your family are spending your life’s earnings to get you through your 4 years of college but wait, what about grad school or medical school or business school or law school or any other desire you have in life? Let’s just say you got enough to get through your UC education where now? How many more years of loans will you have to take out and how many more years of debt will you be in until you pay those loans off.

If you have a chance voice your opinion, don’t be those just freedom riding, be a freedom rider. Do something to change the future and get educated. Get educated on your rights and what you can do to prevent a fatal future. Today, I learned that the government mostly chooses our group of people, the youth or kids in college, to take advantage of, to increase the amount of money we pay because we are the least likely to fight back. Well let me just urge you all to prove them wrong and not let yourselves be taken advantage of. Do what you can and exercise your rights and stop putting it off. If not now then when? When will justice have it’s room in this world of corporations and consumerism? When will we get our fair share of the cake? Now. Let’s take a stand now.
